Welcome to Friends of Joshua House Foundation!
Joshua House achieved 15 years and served its 1000th child this year. These are bittersweet milestones to say the least. Yet, even though children continue to be mistreated and abused, this community continues to support them through its love and generosity. The Board of Directors of the Friends of Joshua House Foundation extends our most heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of our donors, volunteers and the entire Tampa Bay community. Without your support, Joshua House would not have been capable of profoundly improving the quality of life for over 1000 abused, abandoned and neglected children.
Fifteen years ago, a group of concerned citizens, including Dottie Berger MacKinnon, Bob Thomas, Olin Mott, Jim Zimmerman, Laurence Hall, Greg Johnson, Alberto de Alejos, and others dreamed of a safe haven for the abused, neglected and abandoned children in their Tampa Bay community. After dedicated planning and development their dream was realized in the creation of Joshua House. A place where children could be safe from their demons and healed from their wounds.
